School has been going by at an amazing pace. I have a B average in Theory, as well as MedTerm, and an A in Pharmacology and Public Speaking. We started clinicals last week, and while it's INTENSE in terms of working up our patients and keeping everything going on time, it's really cool. I'm set to go on injections and meds, and I think she's going to allow us to administer both next week. I'm nervous!
In the next 3-4 weeks, I have an INCREDIBLE amount of challenges on my plate. Four exams, Care Plans, IPR, quizzes, 2 speeches, many hours of working up meds for my clinical patients, a simulation lab, and much, much more. This doesn't include my roles as an employee, mom, or wife. It's sometimes almost too much to juggle without going batty, but I'm doing my best to stay afloat. On the days where I have a few hours where I'm not working or choosing not to do school work, I'm usually asleep. It's THAT intense!
Wednesdays and Thursdays are both 15-ish-hour days. I literally CRUMBLE at my doorstep when I get home.
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!!!!!!!
