I just looked at the job listings at the hospital group I wish to "get a foot in the door" of.
The ONE application I want so badly to hear back from is for a Unit Secretary for a Med/Surg floor at one of their hospitals a good 30 minutes from my house. BUT! It's for 7am to 7pm, Saturday and Sunday. THIS WOULD BE SUCH A BLESSING FOR SCHOOL!!! The only downside is that this particular hospital is in a rather "rough" part of town and is a pretty far drive.
So imagine my heart coming to a complete and total hault when I saw the SAME position for LABOR AND DELIVERY at the HOSPITAL CLOSE TO MY HOUSE.
Guys, I need a few good thoughts. I swear to everything that I almost pooped my pants when I saw that job listing.
I applied online, but I want to go UP TO THE HOSPITAL dressed nicely with a resume in hand.
Think I should?

PEOPLE!!!! What did I do before becoming a medical transcriptionist??? I was a freakin' secretary for an IT Department at FedEx for almost 8 years.

Just keep on praying and God will show his plan to you. I have no doubt that no matter what you decide, you will conquer it and conquer it well...and probably looking gorgeous with a smile on your face! Good luck. I can only imagine how stressed you must be. Anytime you wanna grab a coffee or a hard stiff drink, you got my number!
